Are you ready to explore the boundless opportunities awaiting you at HKUST? 

Following the success of "Unboxing HKUST Admissions" event in past years, we are excited to announce that we will be visiting two districts in May 2025: Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. By launching a series of talks and consultations across these districts, we hope to provide you, especially 2025 and 2026 JUPAS applicants and students with international qualifications, with a deeper understanding of the diverse learning opportunities HKUST offers.

👥 Target audience: Current and upcoming HKDSE candidates, Students with International Qualification, high school students, parents, and teachers

Event highlights: 
In-Depth Understanding of HKUST
  • Professors and Admissions Officers from five Schools (School of Science, School of Engineering, School of Business and Management, School of Humanities and Social Science, and Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies) will introduce their disciplines, popular courses, and learning opportunities, giving you firsthand insight into the HKUST experience! 
Admissions Talk (JUPAS and International Qualifications)
  • JUPAS choice ranking strategies, 2025 flexible admissions arrangements, HKDSE elective subject requirements, and explanation of bonus score for the best 6th subject.
  • International Qualifications: Explanation and guidance on HKUST admissions requirements, application procedures, and document preparation.
  • The talk will be conducted in Cantonese, with a separate mini talk organized in English. 
Mini Talks and Discussions
  • Engage with professors and Student Ambassadors from different schools to gain firsthand course information and learning opportunities, including internships and overseas exchanges. Through their genuine sharing, you will feel the potential and graduate prospects of HKUST students in various industries, inspiring you to explore diverse career paths for your future.
Personalized Consultation
  • Admissions representatives will be on-site to answer your questions and help you formulate the best university plan.

All students, parents, and teachers are welcome to join. 

Note:

  1. All sessions will be mainly conducted in Cantonese.

  2. The content of the sessions is similar. Participants can choose to attend one of the sessions.

  3. Seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Prior online registration will be given priority for seat allocation.

If Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or Black Rainstorm Warning or above is hoisted during the event, participants are advised to stay at a safe place until the weather and traffic conditions have improved.

Please be reminded to check the weather forecast prior to coming to the event.
