More than most universities, HKUST gives undergraduate students the opportunity to get involved in research projects at an early stage. At all times, you will be able to draw on the support of professors and experienced researchers who are here to help you succeed.
At HKUST, students are able to participate in academic research during their undergraduate years. Research projects are created by supervisors from all four schools and the Interdisciplinary Programs Office, so that students can gain research experience under the supervision of professors and world-class researchers.
This international competition allows students to explore and develop synthetic biology solutions then share their findings at the annual iGEM jamboree. Since 2008, HKUST students have collaborated on and developed projects under the guidance of faculty instructors and advisors who have previously taken part in iGEM competitions.
