MTR

The best MTR stations for transport to HKUST are:

  • Choi Hung
  • Diamond Hill
  • Hang Hau
  • Po Lam

From either of them, you can then board a bus, a minibus, or the complimentary shuttle bus that lets you off at the main entrance of HKUST.

Pickup Locations:

[NEW] MTR Admiralty Station Exit A, Admiralty Centre near McDonald's
(Admiralty Centre)

Service Hours: 08:00, 08:10, 08:20, 08:30, 08:40; 10:00, 10:30, 11:00

MTR Diamond Hill Station Exit C2, near Diamond Hill Baptist Church
(Fung Tak Road)

Service Hours: 08:30 – 14:30 (Every 8-10 mins)

MTR Tseung Kwan O Station Exit B1
(Po Yap Road

Service Hours: 08:30 – 14:30 (Every 8-10 mins)

From HKUST to MTR Tseung Kwan O Station and MTR Diamond Hill Station, respectively

Service Hours: 14:30 – 18:30 (Every 5-10 mins)

Before the event

If at 7am on the day of HKUST Information Day (2 Nov 2024) Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or Black Rainstorm Warning or above is hoisted, the event will be postponed to 3 Nov 2024 (the next day)

During the event

If Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or Black Rainstorm Warning or above is hoisted during the event, participants are advised to stay at a safe place until the weather and traffic conditions have improved.

Please be reminded to check the weather forecast prior to coming to the event.
