The USTouch program combines campus activities with guided tours, encouraging students from different backgrounds to work together on missions. It aims to foster shared interests and promote cultural exchange through collaboration. Participants will engage in activities that expand their perspectives and enhance their understanding of diverse cultures.
Scholars will be strategically grouped with peers who share similar academic interests. This grouping is designed to foster collaborative learning and create a supportive community within your chosen field of study. Your AcadeMentor will play a crucial role in your pre-university journey, providing:
- Clear guidance on academic expectations and university life
- Insights into cutting-edge research and developments in your field
- Assistance in identifying and pursuing diverse learning opportunities
- Support in developing critical thinking and research skills
Throughout the year, your AcadeMentor will work closely with you, ensuring that you have access to a wide array of enrichment activities to complement your academic interests and enhance your preparedness for university-level studies.
Excursion: Industry Immersion offers students a unique opportunity to explore and engage with real-world industries. Participants will gain hands-on experience, network with professionals, and enhance their understanding of global business practices through immersive activities and site visits.
The Horizon Hopper initiative is tailored exclusively for Overseas I.ELITE scholars, providing scholarship opportunities for the Summer Bootcamp for Polymath. This offers an in-depth, firsthand experience of HKUST's dynamic campus life and rigorous academic offerings. Through immersive experiences, scholars gain valuable insights into the university's cutting-edge programs, diverse community, and innovative learning environment.
Please submit your personal documents along with the application form. In your personal statement, we encourage you to articulate how you plan to leverage this program to achieve future success. An interview will be arranged for those who are shortlisted.
