Prof. James Cheung
Description

Dr. Cheung is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He received his BEng and PhD degrees in Computer Science from HKUST in 2018 and 2025, respectively.

Dr. Cheung's research focuses on data-centric AI, particularly on automated data augmentation methods for machine learning and artificial intelligence in low-data regimes. He is also interested in developing innovative, data-efficient solutions that enhance the performance and scalability of AI systems.

Description

#1 Participants must be 16 years old or older at the beginning of the program to be eligible for accommodation, which will be in shared rooms. If you are between 15 and 16 years old, we encourage you to submit your application so we can assess your situation and explore how we can assist you with accommodation arrangements.
