The BBA in Operations Management (OM) program focuses on the effective management of resources and business processes that produce and deliver goods and services for all kinds of organizations. Our program emphasizes real applications of management concepts and quantitative analysis to the design, planning, control, and improvement of business operations.
At the beginning of their studies, students acquire fundamental knowledge across business disciplines to prepare to learn advanced management concepts and the techniques necessary to manage and make sound decisions on complex business processes and supply chain operations. Two options: Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management, are available for those who would like to study the subject matter in depth or to better prepare themselves for a related career.
By the end of their studies, students are proficient in core OM concepts such as operational excellence as a competitive business strategy, the alignment of people, process and technology for achieving operational excellence, and the use of practical business analytics for business modeling and decision making.
Extended Major
OM students may apply for the extended major in Artificial Intelligence or Digital Media and Creative Arts at the end of the 3rd term of study, if they satisfy the extended major requirement. Students completing the extended major will graduate with a title bearing both the traditional major subject they selected and the extended major.
